CHURCH PLANTING

God is on a mission to build His Kingdom for His glory and our joy. The means by which He does this is through the message of the Kingdom, the Gospel, which is to be proclaimed by all His disciples where they live, work and play (Acts 8:11 Cor. 9).

The Gospel is the “good news” that God the Father sent His Son, Jesus, empowered by Holy Spirit to redeem a sinful world. Through Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection He secured redemption for all people who repent of their sin and by faith follow Him. Jesus then commissioned His followers, to go and make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:18–20). Today, the Church continues that exact same commission by making disciples who make disciples.

In the book of Acts we see the birth and multiplication of the church. The Holy Spirit came upon Jesus’ disciples and empowered them to fulfill the Great Commission. We plant churches because the same God who began building His church in Acts is still building it today. God has entrusted His church with the gospel message, and He is building His Kingdom through the multiplication of disciples and churches.

The Crossing is part of the Crossway Network movement which is a network of relationally connected churches focused on planting and supporting healthy, reproducing churches throughout the world for the glory of God.

Church Plants from the Crossing Church:

2012 – The Crossing helped plant Metro Olomouc Church in the Czech Republic

2010 – The Crossing helped plant the Remedy Church on the (New) Jersey Shore

Jesus said in Luke 10:2 that the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. We desire many laborers and churches to be sent into the harvest field around the world. Would you join us in praying for more laborers.

Crossway Network Churches

As churches have been planted, and these churches have planted other churches, we have stayed connected to each other as a network of like-minded churches. We share resources and provide encouragement and equipping forums for the pastors and leaders. Each of these churches, while distinct in many ways, share the same gospel focus and common values. In order to foster the values and benefits of working together, the network was given a name – Crossway Network. To find out the latest information on what is happening on the Crossway Network of churches, visit our Crossway Network page and visit the network website at crosswaynetwork.org.
