The Crossing began as a life group of Crossway Chapel Church of Greeley in the Fall of 2009. We officially launched as The Crossing on Easter Sunday in March of 2010.

As we began to mature as a church, we learned what it means to have the gospel central to our lives. In 2011, we received our church building through the generosity and legacy of Mountain Range Baptist church. In 2014 we sent one of our pastors, Gary McQuinn, and his family to help with Park Church. Gary is now the lead pastor at Park.
In 2015, The Crossing multiplied and planted Choice City Church in Fort Collins, CO.
By God’s grace, The Crossing is established as a church as thousands of people have been served by our church family and been impacted by the gospel since our inception. We desire to plant more churches through the Crossway Network.

We are thankful for all God has done and is doing in us and through us. We are anticipating a great future as we look to impact not just the city of Fort Collins but "to the ends of the Earth" with the hope of the gospel of Jesus.

Our Mission

To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God and the joy of His people.

OUR PASSION

To Love God
Live in Gospel Community
and Leave a Legacy of Disciples who Make Disciples.

LOVE

Our passion at the Crossing is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.

We want to be known as a people who love the God of the Bible. We love God because He loved us first by sending his Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to lay down His own life for our sins so that we might have eternal life in Him (1 John 4:7-12). God is continuing to make His love known to us as the Holy Spirit helps us to see and be amazed by what the Son of God has done for us through His life, death, and resurrection. His love for us is the fountain from which our love for Him and others flows.

LIVE

Our passion at the Crossing is to be a people who live in Gospel community.

The Crossing is not centered on a building but on the Gospel and community. The “Church” consists of those who are “in Christ.” In a broad sense, it is every person who has put his or her faith in Jesus Christ–from Colorado to the ends of the earth. In a local sense, the church is a group of people who trust in Christ and are participating in each other’s lives. In 1 Thessalonians 2:8, Paul says that they not only shared the gospel, but also their lives. This is our desire at the Crossing: to be authentic people who share our lives and point each other to the Gospel. The way we live in Gospel centered community is generally summed up by Scripture’s “one another” commands (love one another, serve one another, forgive one another, etc.)

LEGACY

Our passion at the Crossing is to leave a legacy of disciples who make disciples.

The church has been given a Great Commission: to make disciples (Mat 28:19-20). We want to be people who are constantly using our actions and our words to point those in our contexts to the hope-giving message of the Gospel. Jesus has given us a mission, the “ministry of reconciliation” (2 Cor 5:18), and we are His ambassadors, called to “proclaim the excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light” (2 Pet 2:9). As a redeemed community, we want to be a light to our city by demonstrating the love and goodness of our God and telling people how they can be reconciled to Him through Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that God would use The Crossing to fill our city, our region and the world with communities of disciples who make disciples.

I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. - John 5:24
