The Crossing is not a building or an event. We are community of ordinary people who worship Jesus Christ as our extraordinary Savior and Lord. On Sundays, we all gather together to worship Jesus for who He is and what He has done for us through His Life, Death and Resurrection. Our gatherings are all about Jesus: we pray to Him, sing praises to Him, listen to the preaching of His Word, and celebrate His death for us through the Lord’s Table. The Gospel of Grace is the centerpiece and focal point of every gathering because it is the centerpiece of our faith.
What to Expect:
We encourage you to come as you are. We typically have coffee, juice and refreshments available to grab as you arrive. We take the first 5 minutes of our time together to chat, get to know new people and get caught up on the week. We have a contemporary worship style, and we sing a mix of old songs and new that focus on the glory of God and the Gospel of Jesus. In full, our gatherings typically last about an hour and thirty to and hour and forty-five minutes, but feel free to stick around as long as you want after the service to enjoy getting to know others in the community.
Nursery and Children’s Classes:
We consider it a privilege to care for your kids and to teach them about Jesus and His Gospel, and we want you to know that we take this privilege seriously. As you enter, there will be a sign in table for children who wish to participate in our children’s classes. Someone will be at the Sign-in table to give you more details and to answer any questions you may have. We have a nursery, a toddler class, and a Pre-K class available as soon as you arrive. Children from Kindergarten through 5th grade remain with the rest of the family while we sing some songs together. After we sing a few songs, the kids (K-5) are then led to age appropriate Bible classes while the rest of us sit under the preaching of God’s Word (parents are welcome to escort their children to their classes). After the service, parents should go immediately to pick their children up from their class.
